About the Position: This position is with US Army Installation Management CMD, USAG (Redstone Arsenal), Directorate of Public Works, Business Ops/Integration Division.

Duties

Serves as the Garrison Contract Management Support Officer (CMSO) and Contracting Program Manager Team Lead in the Public Works Directorate. Develop/identify near and long-range acquisition requirements to meet IMCOM service contract requirements. Responsible for assisting Garrison leadership with management of existing contract requirements. Perform and/or participate in all phases of the acquisition process to include requirement definition, acquisition planning, documentation preparation and review, contract administration, etc.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • Incumbent must complete Contracting Officer Representative (COR)?training within 6 months of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
