Duties

Operates a cash register. Accepts cash, personal checks, credit cards, etc. Prepares, verifies and issues change funds as required. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts and other supporting documentation. Compares register tapes with Daily Activity Report and researches any discrepancies, prepares and maintains cash overage and shortage records for each sales cashier daily. Maintains current dishonored check listing, verifies name, mailing address and telephone numbers. Assists in collection of dishonored check payments.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a National Agency Check (NACI).
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• May be exposed to noise, dust, and elements of nature.
• Attend Team Member Orientation within 30 days of employment.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• All employees are required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children?s Fest and Winterfest.
