About the Position: Serves as the garrison Administrative Services Division Chief. Administers the program, which includes Records Management, Mail and Distribution, Army Correspondence, Freedom of Information and Privacy Act, Office Symbols, Printing and Publishing, and other management information services.

Duties

Serve as the Installation administrative management program manager for Publications, FOIA, Privacy Act, and ARIMS. Manage the installation Office Mail Program and the Official Mail and Distribution Center. Supervise employees at the Official Mail and Distribution Center and Program Support Office. Oversee the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) and provide training. Complete requests pertaining to the Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • You may be expected to travel for this position 10% of the time.
