You will serve as the COMMAND CLIMATE SPECIALIST for NMCPAC EAST ASIA DIVISION.

Duties

You will foster a positive and inclusive culture within Navy Munitions Command Pacific, East Asia Division (NMCPAC EAD). You will be the subject matter expert on overall command culture, climate and the primary advisor to senior leadership. You will coordinate with supervisors to ensure consistent application of Command Climate planning requirements and procedures determining strategic goals and objectives. You will develop short and long-range plans and associated metrics and oversee implementation of these plans. You will provide training and coaching to leaders and supervisors on how to create a positive and inclusive culture within the organization. You will provide regular reports to senior leadership on the findings and recommendations from their assessments and evaluations. You will develop and implement policy for overall compliance with OPNAVINST 5354.1H, Navy Equal Opportunity (EO) Policy and related directives.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating Command culture and climate to advise senior leadership in order to resolve critical problems, or develop improved methods.
