Qualifications

We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below: To qualify for the GS-15 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-14 level defined as experience providing recommendations to senior management on policies and procedures related to resources management, including financial resources , grants, and/or human capital; managing a program and/or office budget; and providing leadership to project/program teams. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Ability to plan, conduct, coordinate and evaluate business operations. Skill in directing fiscal management of division. Ability to represent the Office Director at meetings to discuss complex matters related to budget and program management. Knowledge of the federal budget process. Skill in complex data analysis. Knowledge of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of public programs. Ability to develop staffing plans and establish operating policies and procedures. Skill in problem solving. Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of professional, technical, and administrative support personnel. Skill in leading teams. Skill in oral communication. Skill in project/program planning and collaboration. Skill in written communication. Ability to build and foster strategic partnerships. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
