About the position: This position will be assigned to the Base Restaurant at Robins Air Force Base. This is a Flex position, does not include benefits. Scheduled hours are between 0-40 hours weekly. Must be able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.

Duties

Operates Base Restaurant vehicles on Robins AFB as required to service vending machines. Responsible for drive maintenance of vending vehicle. This includes checking tire pressure, fueling and oiling, as well as cleanliness of vehicle. In case of accident, reports accident immediately to the Base Restaurant office. Notifies Base Security Police prior to moving the vehicle from the scene of the accident. Inspects vehicle daily and reports to the Base Restaurant Office of any malfunction of vehicle that might lead to break down of vehicle. Responsible for accurate preparation of daily inspection report. Must drive safely and obey all Base Traffic Regulations. Receives merchandise from the Vending Operation Storeroom, for resupply purposes of vending machines. Responsible for safe guarding delivery of merchandise to resupply points. Stocks vending machines to the level established by the Base Restaurant Vending Manager or designated representative. Does not adjust inventory level without the vending managers approval. Maintains individual item inventory record for each individual vending machine. This includes the maintenance of inventory of merchandise from warehouse to truck, to m3chincs and return of unsold products to warehouse. Replenishes change fund in the coin changer in each machine. Collects monies from vending machine and meter readings of all machines serviced. Money is transported central cashiers cage and counted by head cashier or designated person. Prepares daily report of business. Incumbent must be alter to pilferage and loss of goods/ funds by employees and patrons. Qualifications

Qualifying Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques. Must be able to load and arrange cargo. Must possess a valid driving license. Must be physically able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Must be able to satisfactory complete a pre- employment physical. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. possess excellent customer Service skills. Must maintain a safe drivers record. Must be able to complete required food handling training.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
