You will serve as a LEAD MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Plans & Programs (SP10)/Management Support Services Branch of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.

Duties

You will assist the Branch Head in the planning, organizing, coordinating and managing Branch Operations. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Administrative Services Section, for accomplishing assigned functions, and for making necessary contacts to include both internal and external personnel and organizations. You will serve as Administrative Services functional area expert on Command Inspections teams and on other evaluative initiatives ensuring all components of the organization are in full compliance with higher level directives and statutes. You will serve as senior advisor to the Branch Head providing authoritative guidance and/or advice concerning unusual or critical problems that affect the work of others, support contractors, and on varied/significate administrative programs. You will assist the Branch Head with supporting the formulation, presentation and justification of the Branch budget and its execution in accordance with the Board of Directors intent. You will assist the Branch Head manage contracts for services for help desk support; and accounting and reconciliation services. You will act as coordinator for the Head Quarters ensures that all field activities have a designated Privacy Act Coordinator, coordinates and executes Privacy Act Meetings, Spot checks, and Self assessments. You will carry out studies and projects in administrative function often involving and impacting program development, modification and evaluation including especially difficult management advisory services within and outside the agency. You will plan and coordinate command participation, assess progress towards office and naval goals, determine alternative courses of action, and administer implementation. You will be the lead Travel Administrator and be responsible for the management, coordination and dissemination of the overall travel functions for the activity, You will communicate orally and written with travelers and leadership. You will utilize expert knowledge of travel policies, concerts and principles.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: analyzing and evaluating budgets, contracts, and Defense Travel System to provide guidance and perform studies to improve administrative programs for assigned programs.
