You will serve as a SUPV HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the STAFFING DEPARTMENT of the OCHR SAN DIEGO OPERATIONS CENTER.

Duties

You will serve as a liaison with Headquarters and other Operation Centers, Department of Defense and the Office of Personnel Management to address issues impacting local procedures and providing recommendations and alternative ways of doing business. You will be responsible for maintaining high level of work production through continuous process improvements, review of workload completion indicators and information and formal training of subordinate staff. You will provide advice and guidance to subordinate supervisors on a variety of HR functional programs including complex staffing, classification, and placement issues. You will collaborate with subordinate supervisors to assign work, set priorities, and redistribute work to ensure staffing objectives are met.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing a comprehensive human resources program to serve as a subject matter expert in human resource laws, regulations, principles, and practices as it relates to staffing, recruitment, and placement matters; and overseeing team initiatives to review workload completion indicators.
